Discussion starter- what truly makes PC better than console gaming?

What is it about PC gaming that has console gamers in rage?
Is it the control set up? Game variety? community?

My guess is that they're envious. Also, there's a negative image of PC gaming. The vast majority of people look at PC gaming as WoW, Runescape, maplestory, Club Penguin, etc.

Hm this is quite true. For some reason there's also natural elitism that comes with playing console. I'll never figure it out and will forever remain confused about why admitting the obvious is wrong.

It's not just that. The common sterotype of what the computer is used for is distorted. Computers can run entertainment, and quite well, if you pay the price. Computers are able to function zealous entertainment extensions, and have an abundance of it, while console gamers heavily favor the consoles because of the popularity.

i think PC is better because it has better graphics -- a TV can't reproduce the same rapid improving technological effects of a PC screen.

also i just feel like with mouses, i have more control towards movement and with controllers, there are multiple buttons to do something simple as aim, move around,. and shoot simultaneously,.
